Esther M. Ziock Carroll has been doing genealogy research since 1971 and has compiled quite an extensive and interesting family history with trails going to the countries of: Canada, France; England; Ireland; Scotland; Germany, Italy, India, Egypt, Labrador, Mosquito Coast Of Nicaragua, & The Caribbean Islands Of St. John, St. Thomas & St. Croix. Esther's and Gene's ancestors include medieval knights; soldiers from the French and Indian War, the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812 and the Civil War; Clan chiefs, a Lord, Barons & a Baroness, a sheriff, a marshall, weavers, farmers, plantation owners, merchants, preachers, Moravian missionaries, moonshiners, a gangster and ancestral associations with such well known historical figures as, George Washington, President John Adams, Daniel Boone, Davy Crockett, Joseph Smith & Brigham Young, Gens. Wm. T. Sherman & Ulysses S. Grant, Gen. Sterling Price, Sam Hildebrand, Wm. Clarke Quantrill and Jesse James. This site is frequently updated as new information is always being added.
