Clyde's new do.....

NewKit.jpg (15192 bytes)This is the new guy. I found him in the wood pile.   He has calmed down a bit, but he thinks I am his new mommy.  Poor thing.  He cries just like a baby.  I didn't know what to do with him, so I called Lawson's and asked if anyone was looking for a kitten and explained the situation to them.  Not sure who I was talking to, but they told me to hang on a minute.  They came back on the line and said there was a lady in there who runs a rescue shelter for animals from somewhere around DeSoto.  They said if I could get up there right away, she would take the kitty.  So I did.  She and her daughter took little Woody and started kissing and hugging him right away, so I knew he would be in good hands.  Everyone was surprised how young he was and that he survived the ordeal in the woodpile. That was fate that I called there just at the right time.  I hope he is happy and well.  The lady (unfortunately I didn't even get her name) said they were very selective about who they let adopt their animals.  Dr. Lawson had inspected and approved their facilities for their license and they have her check out all their animals.  So hopefully, he is living a great life! When I went by the Vets to get some medicine and while I was there, I got the name and phone number of the lady who took Woody.  Not sure if I will call her. I would rather just think happy thoughts about the little guy.

This picture is (l) Mouser (r) Tiger.  Before I came to MO,
I used to go to my cabin in the mountains.
I would take my cat, Tiger.  Mouser lived next door
in the mountains.  They were best friends. - Leslie Hamby

He is 17 and I am really surprised he doesn't have
