d: ca. 1886 - it is unknown at this time if the Joseph Govero mentioned below is the same person:

Mrs. Peter Guthrell of Pevely was yesterday thrown out of a buggy and badly hurt, and Joseph Govereau in attempting to stop the frightened horse at the railroad track was run over by the cars and killed.

Boyer - According to her death certificate Martha was a widow at time of  death & was the daughter of Mary Boyer & Joseph Govero. She was born in Ste. Genevieve, Mo.  Birth place of father was Washington County & birth place of mother Ste. Gen.   The informant was B. Boyer of Cadet, Mo.  Doctor was Joseph L. Thurman, Potosi.  Undertaker was Donnell B. Dietrich, DeSoto, Mo.

Genevieve, Mo.  - d: 19 Feb. 1932, St. Louis Mo. - buried: DeSoto, JeffCoMo - m: Joseph Hanson  (Joseph B Hanson came to Cadet area w/Kansas Volunteer Army to guard the Deck Bridge which allowed the Iron Mountain Railroad to bring supplies to the Union Army....Going out to farms to get food for his battalion he came to Joseph Govero's farm...Both Josephs were 45 years of age...but Joseph Govero had 19 year old daughter named Elizabeth Mary Govero whose father Joseph felt   Joseph B Hanson @ 45 years would be good match for his daughter. - From: Chris Hicks ) 1890 Census - Joseph B. Photo submitted by: Eric Hanson - Joseph and Marie Anne (Boyer) Govero's daughters:  From left to right- Elizabeth Mary (Govero) Hanson (my great great grandmother), Mary Jane (Govero) Portell, wife of Simeon Portell, Mary Louise (Bouchard) Young, wife of Charles Alexander Young and daughter of Sophia Genevieve (Govero) Bouchard, also my great grandmother, next is her mother, Sophia Genevieve (Govero) Bouchard, wife of Matthew Bouchard,, thus my great great grandmother, then comes Martha (Govero) Boyer, I believe to be wife of a John Boyer?  So as you can see, in this picture along I have 2 great great grandmothers and one great grandmother. My paternal grandparents were second cousins, as both of their grandmothers were sisters, daughters of Jospeh Govero.
