Washington County Missouri Ice Storm ~ 2006
| November 30th southeast Missouri was hit with a devastating ice storm which paralyzed the area. Over 13,000 homes in Washington County & over 500,000 homes in southeast Missouri were without electricity (in some places for more than a week) with temperatures into the teens. The National Guard was called in to assist with relief efforts. The National Guard pictures below were taken in Potosi several days after the initial storm. |
