MID-WEST SHIVERING IN WINTRY BLAST
Tornadoes, Hail & Snow Sweep Wide Area & Give Unpleasant Surprise To Easter Season

Chicago, April 1 – (UP) – Easter antics of the weather, varying in tornadoes in Missouri to hail & snow in the region of the Great Lakes left a wide area of property damage & disrupted communications in the Midwest today. 

Meager reports indicated at least 20 persons were injured in a tornado which swept Poplar Bluff, Marble Hill & Mineral Point, Missouri.  Three others were injured by a windstorm which caused considerable property damage in Kansas City.
