Fredrich George August Ziock was born in Hattingen, Westfalen, Germany 19 March 1818 and was christened the same year.  He was the son of Joan Friedrich Ziock and Gertrude Vorbrodt. 1st married to Elisabeth Schipper (*July 03, 1822, d. April 05, 1870), November 07, 1846. 2nd Marriage with Elise Austermann March 24, 1871 in Bochum Westfalen and they had four children.  Fredrich George August Ziock died in Bochum in 16 April 1889.

Otto - born 1864 in Bochum - There is an Otto Ziock listed in the 1873 St. Louis Business Directory.   He is a clerk with William Ziock & Co., 1817 Papin St.   Otto is listed again as a single white male in the 1880 census but is now residing in St. Charles, Missouri which is north of St. Louis.  The census gives his birth year as 1860 which is after Heinrich Ziock & his family came to the United States.  Birthplace is given as Prussia (Germany).  He was probably an employee of the St. Charles Woolen Mills of which William Ziock was president.  The St. Charles Woolen Mills later became the Rockford Mitten and Hosiery Company.
