Matilda Ziock Porbeck

Matilde Ziock was born 8 Apr. 1836 in Hattigen, Germany.  She was the daughter of Wilhelmine Schaefer & Heinrich Ziock.  She married ARNOLD PORBECK in St. Louis Missouri 15 Dec.1860.   Mathilde died of apoplexy 4 Apr. 1904 at 1115 S. 11th Street St. Louis & is buried in New Pickers Cemetery, St. Louis.

There is a village in near Hattingen called Porbecke. It existed already in  the 9 th (!)  century.  From: Horst Lerner
